Anyone know about the LED stands? From the photo below: http://www.hkems.com/product/xbox/LCDTopGun.htm they look like rather large plastic boxes. The size is listed as: LED Stand (2 pcs) : 41.0 cm X 1.5 cm X 3.0 cm. My 27" TV is the exact width of my cabinet. So I am not sure where I would be able to put the LED "towers". Man that would be a shame if that was the case and these guns turn out to be such a great two player MAME solution. |

If you guys are putting them in your cabinet, please take pics! |

I couldn't take it anymore and caved. I just ordered two of them. They said 3-4 days, so maybe I will get them by the weekend. We'll see... I will post back if I get them and things don't work. Otherwise if you don't hear from me for weeks, assume they work fine since I will have been busy playing all the shoot 'em up games I could find. ;D |

I too broke down and ordered one..... They seem like the perfect solution for us. Given that they track without reference to the light coming from the screen it means that tracking should work 100% of the time, even on very dark scenes and no need for that annoying screen flashing. Although if you like screen flashing (and some people do) you should still be able to have it turned on in games that use it. As I'm still working on my cabinet design, I'll be able to incorporate the sensors directly into the design. Couldn't be better, or have come at a better time for me. I'm now selling a PS99L (Guncon and Guncon2 USB) Light Gun with laser targeting and full recoil if anybody wants one.... PM Me... Best Regards, Julian (Fozzy The Bear) |

Dear Steve, Q ) These guns you sell seem to use a different technology. Can you explain roughly how they work? How accurate they are? A : There are 5 sets of infrared LEDs on the two LED stand, which would be place beside the screen. There is a mini camera at the gun. When you shoot, the camera would recognize the co-responding distance of the 5 sets of infrared LEDs, and the LCD TopGun system would then calculate the position where you are aiming at. As this technology is total independent of what screens you are using, therefore the LCD TopGun system could support every types of screens. The accuracy of the LCD TopGun is 1024 X 768 pixel, which is much higher then that of the traditional CRT light gun (around 3xx X 2xx pixel). Best Regards Melody |
