I just realized my TopGUn has been sitting in the bottom of my arcade cabinet collecting dust for a good 8 months at least.... I had it working okay the last time I used it, but had to stand kind of awkwardly 'left' of my screen to get it calibrated and to play. Has there been any improvements or other major breakthroughs in the last 5 months or so that I should know about if I dig the thing back out? Has there been any light guns put out that put this one to shame yet? --------------------- Edit: Wow. I just configured using the newest EMS drivers, and the gun seems to be tracking better than it did before... but now I also have a newer mame. I can get the crosshairs to move around the screen, but it seems as if the bullets shoot right in the middle of the screen... like the gun is not tracking with the crosshairs...? Are there some different commands in Mame that I have to use for gun tracking now? I'm doing some searches, but coming up blank. |

Try to use SMOG's drivers never had any problems with them. |

I found in the latest version of mame, I have to use "-lightgun_device mouse" in the command line, then I have to go into the games input settings and set player1's analog gun settings for my X and Y axis. Things are looking up... |
