I like the artwork as seperate. BUT since EVERYTHING BYOAC is seperated what actually would be posted in the newbie forum that shouldn't be moved to the other topics?

Dear friends and enemas,

The debate on this issue is moot.  The information is either on the website, within the examples, or from one of the knowledgeable folk in this message board community.  All other questions about repeat posts and unsorted examples should not be the issue - but part of the enjoyment!  Part of this hobby for me is asking questions, searching for the best possible way to achieve something on my cab (in my opinion, and my taste), and looking at all the examples of what others are doing with their cabs.

So, I am glad that the examples page is unsorted.  I am glad that people ask the same questions in different ways.  These things provide more references from which to research and forces you to see good projects, and some okay (?) projects.  Knowing WHAT NOT to do is just as important as WHAT to do.

Too much information is not a bad thing, especially with a search feature!  If you try searching and still aren't satisfied with the answer, pose the same question with specificity to your needs on the message board - it will most likely get answered.

Having said all of this, thanks to everyone who has helped me achieve my goal of owning (and building) an upright video game.   It truly is a wonderful hobby.  Use of this site and finding information on the internet is part of that enjoyment.

It's not the destination that matters, it's the journey.

If you had a newbie section, how are you going to get any answers?  Newbies answering newbies?  Blind leading the blind?
