I could use some help in finding the font used in Space Invaders. I've searched the forums and Google with no luck. Can anybody point me in the right direction? |

Do a google on Free Fonts; a lot of sites have similar, home-brewed fonts. Otherwise, if you can get an .eps file of something with the font in it (even if it's convereted to outlines), then you can upload that to: http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ |

I've tried WhatTheFont (using a .jpg of an enlarged piece of the screen shot)and the closest match (FFF Alias) isn't that close at the smaller sizes. I'm hoping to use a font size of 10 or maybe 12 on a web page; maybe I just won't be able to find it that small. I'll keep looking on Google though. Thanks. |

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your intent, but if you plan to use the space invaders type font on a web page, it's mostly only going to show up if the user has the font on their system unless you've got some way to force-install. |

Crap. You're right, I hadn't thought of that. Must've slept thru that part of Web Page Building 101. I'm looking at doing a Space Invaders-themed cab with the obligatory web page. I could still use the font on a CP or bezel, so there's still some point in finding it, just lost some of the sense of urgency though. Much obliged.... |
