My cab had four 3.5" Wicos in a 3/4" thick CP with a bit routed out underneath (I'd guess 1/4"). I currently have two of them in my temporary 1/2" thick CP (with no routing out) and I think they're perfect. So I wouldn't sweat it deadmoney5. Try it out and if you decide that it's too low, buy a 4" replacement shaft from ponyboy. |

Mine are all WICO leaf sticks. I recessed the unit into the top of the control panel. It works just dandy. I have played them either way and it really isn't that big of a deal for play, top-mounted vs. bottom-mounted. The NOS ones are a bit stiff at first, but I suspect that you will love the feel of this 4-way. |
