Check e-bay. Contractors buy the sets and only use the batteries. You can find a drill and case (no battery) cheap sometimes... |

There's supposed to be a way to replace the inside part of the batteries too, I've been looking for that, since I have 7(!!) 18V batteries that have started to show their age... :'( |

Can you keep taking apart the motor. Maybe it's just the brushes or a bearing. |

Match the cells solder them together and there ya go. No sure if it's economical never tried it but I have seen the inside of the bat. |
