Just wondering from the guys / gals out there that have multi control panels, how they hook them up. Do you usually have a separate I-Pac for each panel, or a wiring harness that you unplug / plug into each of your control panels? If you have pictures, that would be great. |

Seperate ipacs would be expensive. Most use "plugs" like molex connectors, or even Cat 5 cable/jacks. |

Where can you buy Molex connectors and the tool to make them? |

I checked out our local Radio Shacks in Ottawa Canada..... they've all turned into Circuit City The Source... none had molex connectors. I had to go to a specialty electronics store. I paid about 9$ for each 15 circuit molex connector. I plan on mounting My Ipac in the cabinet and leaving my optipac in the CP with the trackball.. of course, I may never get around to building another CP, but my cab is designed so that I can switch them in and out. |
