I had it bookmarked as: http://slot-tech-ftp.serveftp.com:8080/

It dosn't seem to work in the WayBack archive.  :(

I always ment to back that stuff up local but never did..ugg.

I think Randy has gotten upset that his stuff was being distributed all over the net.

I see a lot of tech sites that said he asked them to take his stuff off.

His Arcade School stuff is good if you have no clue. It got me started on working on PCB's and the Monitors. I don't think I would have learned anything about them if it wasn't for those tapes. He's one of the best at explaining arcade specific electronics.

Randy is publishing star tech journal now. Maybe he's wanting to drum up some demand for good tech info.

Witchboard:

Thanks everyone for the info.

--- Quote from: KevSteele on December 23, 2005, 08:40:08 am ---I believe that Speciality Plastics got a "cease and decist" order from Wayne Gillard of The Pinball Factory (the new licensees of Bally/William's IP) over their repro pinball parts.

He may have just decided to pull up everything and stop (Specialty Plastics made repro Tron handles, didn't they?)

These are dark times in the pinball world because of all these threats of lawsuits, and I'm afraid there may have been some collateral damage in the arcade repro world...

That's a shame.
