So I have this power supply for my Q*bert knocker: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2049692&cp=&kw=power+30v&parentPage=search

The problem is that my knocker likes 3 amps. This thing only puts out 1 amp. This makes for a rather weak knock.

Does anyone know where to find a power supply with 3 amps at 30 volts? I've searched high and low with no luck.

Thank you!

Not exactly plug and play...

Is it hard to find original Q-bert power supplies? What about pinball machine power supplies? A lot of those used the same knocker didn't they?

what's a knocker?  (in terms of power supplies)

Actually, it's in terms of the original game.

Q-Bert had a knocker in it.  A knocker is a coil that sets off a piston that 'knocks' against a striker.  In Q-Bert it's activated when the little guy falls off the pyramid.  Kind of like he's hitting the bottom of the cab.
