Um dude....Debit cart accepted by most folks, Paypal by others, and for those who fall down the horrible slippery slope, credit cards, Credit cards are accepted nearly everywhere.

But I do not recomend CCs

THEY ARE FROM THE DEVIL HIMSELF!!!  :banghead:

Sorry, still recovering from credit card debt.

of course there is only that pesky remembering to stop by the post office and send money thing I keep forgetting to do.....

I assumed that this is in refference to buying buttons. If not then never mind my distgusting derailment of yer thread.  :P

Carry on... nothing to see here.

oh o.k. sorry thread went to the next page and I get confused when that happens.... anyways I prefer to use money orders because I use my personal funds that way the wife can't keep track of what I'm spending... If I write checks or use debit or credit cards sooner or later she'll see the paper trail and it's off to buy more shoes for her........

Now all you have to do is clean out the mouse poop, and you're ready to continue working on that cab...

 :banghead:

FYI I suck at coming up with a design for my CP... I'm not happy with anything I've created... I want something simple that blends in well with the yellow cabinet and the old skool marquee.....

I'll give another stab at it this weekend...

I did get some new buttons from AC, as I never did find my original P1 & P2 buttons... two of the buttons he sold me were black, so I dug out the vinyl stickers nannuu made a long while back and applied them to the buttons... I must say they look very sharp... I'll post pics of them later...

I decided to replace the other buttons I had planned on using from the VS. control panel with some of the newer buttons and the newer buttons are much wider so looks like I'll be doing some modification to the CP... While I'm at it I might work on figuring out how to attach the trackball...I'm using a Kensington Expert Mouse trackball so I need to check out ften's site again to see how he did his...

oh I did manage to clean out the shed a little bit so that I could move the cabinet around.....

...I'm using a Kensington Expert Mouse trackball

Why?

Mainly the price factor.....

I picked up one really cheap on e-bay when I originally got the idea of building a cabinet... it's very playable for Centipede and Crystal Castles which was the only reason I needed one (aside from navigation)... I'm not much of a Golden T fan o(r any golf game for that matter) so a trackball for that game wasn't a big issue for me to spend extra cash on for a trackball and encoder...

That dang price factor, it's the 2nd biggest stumbling block in this hobby.

This is clearly the result of poor planning about basement fittage....perhaps you should have borrowed someone's cab or built a model out of cardboard first

I like it. A deconstructed Arcade Cabinet. I bet there has been more of these made then complete from scratch cabinets.

Hi I'm part of the new generation of members. I remember my great grandad telling me stories of MC and the giant yellow cab. :)

That's got to be the worst end to a 16 page book I've ever read. :0

Did you at least find them admin buttons?

Rumor has it that the demise of this cabinet was from pressing the "O" and "K" buttons at the same time  :dunno :timebomb:
