I've not had a problem once with DNS errors, but I had problems with the newer versions of Firefox with other stuff like Memory leaks and whatnot. I downgraded to 1.0.7 and haven't EVER had issues with Stingray's site since then, and I think I only lost the use of a single plug-in which, I guess, since I can't remember it, wasn't really that necessary. Find it at www.oldversion.com I've never had a problem with this site either, FWIW. You have to remove ALL traces of Firefox 1.5 before installing 1.0.7, otherwise it'll update itself as soon as you're connected to the 'net. Don't forget to Export your bookmarks before removing it, and Import them back into 1.0.7 when finished. |
