My Pacman profile cabinet (finished!......99%)

<< < (97/102) > >>

c64rulez:
Just a few more checkmarks on my (never ending) checklist:

- Spray painted black the half inch space all around the upper front side of the cab
- Installed the speakers panel (decided to leave the original grill grey)
- Routed the t-molding slot in the tv frame

Here's a picture showing the marquee and the speakers panel in place. The marquee is held here by friction only (it's going to be fitted with two 26" retainers).

quarterback:
I love the marquee.  That's hot!

Bones:
You are doing a great job 64. This is gunna be an awesome cabinet.

c64rulez:
Thanks guys. It's starting to look like something...

I've glued the bezel artwork (4 separate rectangles) onto the MDF frame
Here are two pictures, the first of which shows the "black oriented" part of the cab: marquee, speakers panel, tv bezel, cp
The second is just a close up on the cp-bezel joint. A small gap can be seen there, which is going to hold the bezel plexi in place.

I hope my next post will finally include pictures with the sideart completed.

c64rulez:
Made some progress with the sideart this weekend, after being down with a nasty flu for a couple of days.
I'm using several templates so as to progress on both sides simoultenously.

Just some pictures taken during the painting process
