My Pacman profile cabinet (finished!......99%)
c64rulez:
Test drive @ home
Just the tv, pc (with keyboard) and the speakers for a quick test-in-the-box.
All is working fine. TV picture needs some tuning, but besides that I'm cool.
All pc stuff (motherboard, power supply, hd) will be mounted on that mid-shelf.
Down under is a boston acoustics sub.

Regarding the FrontEND I'm currently writing, it's actually an MS ACCESS application, so do your own math as for the compatibility issue.
However, IT WILL BE FREE, and YES it will also be a JUKEBOX and will run SLIDES

Why do people put bare components in their MAME machine? Seems like a lot of work and risk to the components, to mount them freely in the cab, rather than just put the whole case in there. Is it just to make it lighter? To reduce the number of fans needed to cool things? Just cause people think it's "cool"?
c64rulez:
I simply did not have a box
Everything you see there is garbage collection (800Mhz PIII, 384MEG, 20GB)
Has nothing to do with "cool"
Its not a good answer, but...
