Yep. It will work with Mame32, but it is not recommended. Works better with MAME. Download Windows command line version of MAME from mame.net and extract it into your c:\mame directory. When you startup mamewah for the first time, you will have to generate your game list. Mamewah can do this if you go to the Options screen and select Generate Game List. Player 2 Start takes you to the menu screen. Left Joy pages up 25 games, right joy goes down 25 games in the list. You can use catver.ini to create categories of games also.... Mamewah 1.61 can be downloaded here : http://mamewah.mameworld.net/downloads.htm Follow those directions on that previous link closely and you will get your mamewah working well with mame. I just used those directions yesterday to setup my mamewah. Good luck. |

Do you have a file called xml2info.exe in your mame32 directory? If not, try downloading it and trying again. Make sure to generate your list from within mamewah, can't tell you how many times I didn't do that and thought something was wrong. |

What does it do when you try to generate the lists? a) Launch MAMEWAH b) Hit '2' to bring up the Options menu c) Use the down cursor key to select 'Games List Options', hit '1' to select d) Use the down cursor key to select 'Generate List', hit '1' to select How was listinfo.dat created? was it based on an audit of you rom folder? |

well i got list working just few min ago using this program http://www.bluecamel.org/2005/02/26/mamewah-config-161/ but the list only lists the rom name not game name itself. |
