Why two control panel cutouts?

Just curious as to why the plans in the book have cut you out two controls panel tops.

Just room left over so there's an extra, think the book even says somewhere that it's optional, but it's been a while since I wrote it :)

one is more of a prctice cp to make sure the cuts are right I think....

don't have the book with me at work to check (sorry Saint I won't forget it again)

but I do recall he states why in the book.

Ohhh..... Gunna use my detective qualities here.

Been awhile since you wrote it, and therefore read it...... This strongly suggests that at least for the moment there is no book 2 in progress or you would have most certainly been referring to it.  :'(

When making my control panel, I cut two in case I screwed something up.

I was right. Didn't glue the CP overlay on properly and was forced to rip it off. Unfortunately I couldn't get the glue off so it went in the bin.

Always double up if you can.
Now in a tasty new flavour.
