Help Upgrading Analog+

eyal8r:
Hi guys-
I am stuck on updating my Analog+.  I am running Analog+ for XP, Ver 0.82, and trying to upgrade to the latest version. I downloaded it, unzipped it, and it gives me a 'mameanalog.exe' file.

What do I do with this? I tried running it, and it gives me a warning that it needs to be run from a command prompt. I tried renaming it to the 'mame32analogXP.exe' format as my original file is, but that doesn't work. How do I do this?
Thanks

anyone?
Thanks

did you try opening up a command prompt and typing in mameanalog and then put a rom name in there
ie mameanalog cabal
eyal8r:
not yet...  but I will...

However- the version I currently have is just an icon that I can double click and it opens up the mame interface.  Is this the comman prompt version?  How do I upgrade to the Window version?
Thanks

man, this is tough to find answers to. I've sent U_rebelscum email to- no response.

Maybe I should just keep the old school ver 0.82... NAAAHHH!  Can someone help me out here?  I am running multiple mice, multiple spinners and TBs in XP- thus, need the Analog+ version. HOWEVER- the old version was a SPECIAL version for XP only. Not sure if this newest version is written to work with XP AND multiple mice/controls or not.  Also- why is this one commanline version, while the other version is a window version?  Can someone help?
Thanks
