Howard_Casto:
I have designs for both mame and byoac waiting in the wings. The byoac needs more work though as it's hard to sum up an arcade related site without using any commercial characters. The mame logo designs are rather tasteful though, they are basically the outline of the default mame logo with various textures, patterns and 3d effects applied to it. Once I get them cleaned up I will post some pics. According to mame's eula those shirts have to be non-profit, but I think in the case of byoac t-shirt some of the proceeds should go towards maintaining the site. (Bandwith ain't free ya know) So convince saint and we'll get the green light. Also something of note is the system we will use will allow an unlimited number of designs to choose from, so if you think you've got a better design we can simply post it and people can buy it if they want. |

You could also contact the authors of Robby Roto and Gridlee for permission to use their characters or art... they're not "classic" characters, but they'll look old-school and pixellated enough to convey the feeling of early-80's arcade games... |
