He used 13 of em. Think about this. Each MS kit is about $200 each and comes with only 1 RCX.... hmm... Not only does he have time, but he has money. |

Actually, I find these severely dissapointing. Making a machine out of wood and a printed artwork would not be all that difficult, and the design could be much better and much more complex. The other sad part is that for all the controllers, time, and money spent on these... there is no 'kicker' coils. Pinball without coils = not a pinball IMOP. Might as well buy one of those cheesy 50$ kids 'pinball' (ugg) games. Someday.. I will make a pinball machine. Gota finish restoring the real ones first though... so it could be a while. The electronics are the hardest part. If someone makes a controller for them.. Id be in heaven. I think many others would be too. |

come on now... its cool and you know it. sure it will play like crap. But it still cool. Especially if you could move it around. Think about hooking it up to vpinmame with lego tops... where you could move all the bumpers around to fit a specific game. But its not a real pinball machine. And sure making one with wood might not seem that hard, but getting it perfect probably is a real pain in the butt... not to mention finishing it and saying, this kinda sucks gameplay wise... or its too easy...or the balls always sink... or ... with legos, you can just fix that :) |
