Stingray:
Just wondering how many people here are into it. I saw Chad rip on it in another thread (no suprises really), but I was wondering what the opinions are of the sci-fi fans on this board who don't generally hate everything out of principal. I think it's the best sci-fi that's been on TV in ages. Excellent writing, acting, character development, effects, there really isn't anything I don't like about it.

That cliffhanger ending has me about to go out of my mind waiting for the new episodes in January.

I watched the first few episodes and just couldn't get into it.  I loved the original, so I guess I couldn't get over the fact that Starbuck is a girl.
JoyMonkey:
I shouted at the TV at the cliffhanger.

My wife and I are hooked on BSG. I think it's easily the best sci-far show ever created, mostly because of the strong character relationships and how the cylons and war-fare are handled.

Incidentally, I found a website recently about a BSG remake that never made it to production from 2000. It was pretty interesting, but had a lot of designs that were probably deemed too similar to the original series to warrant a remake. Can't remember what the site was...

Edit: Here it is
Zakk:
Yeah, my complaint is that it kind of seems like a crazy lesbian group got enough money together to butcher a sci-fi classic.
Grasshopper:
Lesbians as well! It gets better and better. I've got to check this series out.
