I always think daylight saving is a dumb idea. You gain an hour of sunshine in the morning when most people are either working or travelling to work and thus don't care, and you lose an hour's light in the evening when most people have their leisure time and want the extra light. Makes to sense to me. |

Crazy thing is not all of Aus will be under daylight savings. You start an extra hour earlier in the morning (ie reducing the morning sunlight) and finish an hour earlier in the afternoon meaning you have an extra hour of sunlight at night. I wish we had it here. |
