| Joystick question - Single or Double pole |
| (1/1) |
| AC.:
I need two small joysticks and am looking at this one at Happ: http://www.happcontrols.com/joysticks/503050a1.htm What does the "Single or Double pole switched" mean? |
| NoOne=NBA=:
Single pole means that it closes one switch when activated, like a lightswitch would. Double pole means that it will close two switches when activated. An example of this would be if you glued a popsicle stick across the lightswitch and fan switch in your bathroom. Shoving up on the popsicle stick would activate BOTH switches at the same time. |

Thanks! So that means I only need a single pole switch, unless I wanted to control two functions at the same time. |
