Bones:
There is talk here of DSL comparable speed being delivered via the electrical power cables to your home so if you have power you can get connected.

Dunno much about it though, I hear it's less than 12 months away in Oz.

Nope, it was me.

It's shelved for the moment. Right now I'm building a model robot (not full sized) for an online contest. I guess I could post some progress shots of that if there's any interest. This isn't a kit, I'm building it out of my parts box. It will probably have parts from close to 20 different kits on it by the time I finish.

if you use a dial up then can you tell me if my sig actually does effect you badwidth,as i cant see how it could as i think its small enough,as i use it at killercabs and there is fellas in there with dial up and no one as ever said anything.

Wish I could get DSL, but I do have cable at home so I can work from there when necessary.

DSL is so much cheaper.

I just switched from DSL to cable and I'm so much happier with it. DSL is fast enough for the average user, but there comes a time when the 170kb/s max just doesn't cut it. I guess I download way too much crap. Cable was only $20 more and I get 700kb/s downloads now  ;D
