You can only play certian games tho right?  Like one stick games without analog controls (ie fighting games)  Nothing like halo.  Correct me if im wrong.

If you go the XArcade BYOA kit you can play games that use ANALOG or DIGITAL controls. The catch is that it uses a switch to determine ANALOG or DIGITAL mode. So you wouldnt really be playing games that needed both ANALOG and DIGITAL during the gameplay at the same time.

Its a good cheap solution and if you want to add a different console to the cab, you simply buy the appropriate console adapter. Currently there are adapters for XBOX, PS1/PS2, Dreamcast, Gamecube and PC.

Hope it helps

I heard a rumour that all Capcom 2D/Low-res fighters will have this feature (upsampled to 480p with bilinear filter) on all future XBox and PS2 releases.  Take that with a grain of salt, as it was definitely not confirmed by any official source.  I do hope if it is true, they at least give an in-game option to disable the feature.

I can understand with the gaming market all salivating for HD-resolution gaming that companies would do this, but it leaves us low-res lovers with a bad taste in our mouths.

You can do this with the Ultimarc adaptor too...but I just don't like playing games which use an analog stick with a digital stick.  Waste of time imo...

I hope this isn't the case too, I mean surely the majority of gamers are using normal tv's??
