| Name this trackball! USB highlip? |
| << < (2/3) > >> |
| Ldsfunaz:
they also sent that spacer, i dunno what it is good for, but you made me more confused than ever, so these red boards aren't for USB trackballs?, I'm real new to this stuff. I'm 80% done with cab, but this is the first actual arcade thingumabob(note: actually in spellcheck, i had thingyumbob) that I have in my possession. anymore clues to this riddle would be super helpful mike |
| CheffoJeffo:
The spacer goes on the top of the trackball to reduce the lip (you'll have to take the mounting plate off first). To convert a Happ ball to PS2/USB using their kit, you need to replace the optic boards. I don't know if they have red board for their PS2/USB kits (mine came with green boards).. Cheers |

To further clarify to what the spacer does. |
| specfire:
Hi CheffoJeffo, If Ldsfunaz doesn't claim/need the red boards after all, I need a pair to replace what appear to be defective (20+ year old) Atari optical boards (I have a 3" Atari TB, same design as Happ but super old boards.) Would you consider selling them to me? BTW, I am the guy with the Solitaire Challenge cab up in Barrie that you helped out several months ago. |
| CheffoJeffo:
Sorry specfire -- I have already promised them to somebody else in case ldsfunaz doesn't want them. If for some reason, neither want them, then they're yours gratis. I noticed that you are actively looking for another cab (a Dynamo, I believe) ... how did that Solitaire Challenge work out ? Cheers. |
