--- Quote from: jhanson on October 03, 2005, 02:09:57 pm ---I'm looking for an analog encoder so I can hook up some positional guns (as opposed to light guns). Ultimarc's site says that they are out of the A-PAC, and I haven't heard back from Andy about when they might be available again. The AKI seems okay, but I'd rather not pay via PayPal. Are there any alternatives to these two products? I wish GroovyGameGear.com made one, as I really like they KeyWiz encoders. --- End quote --- I thought randy made one? GP-Wiz or something? |

About the A-PAC. This is now back in stock. It was out of stock owing to a shortage of the blank microcontroller chips. These are still in short supply so I have decided to put back in stock some pre-release versions. There is only one difference in this version, which is the description string which shows in Control Panel states "G-PAC". They are identical in all other respects. Andy W |

All same or more than the plasma or plasma lite. ;) (I never heard of the deva one, but all came up on the first page googled.) --- End quote --- I have the Happs encoder board (not the analog model though), and it works flawlessly. However, I bought it without doing my homework on pricing and availability of other products. These things are almost $200. Edit: Well, when I bought it they were almost $200. Now, they're about $150... |
