I've been in the middle of constructing the Project Arcade cabinet for a while now.

Ah man!  I figured it out.  The name of the game is patience!  It came together very well by just giving a couple of hours for the Liquid Nails to set in.  I guess I just really want to get it all done as soon as possible.  Well, time to press on some more.

Glad to see you got it.  Sounds like the problem is the electric screwdriver your using trys to tighten it too hard.  You should check to see if theres some sort of torque control that will make it stop trying to turn the screw after a certain amount of pressure is attained, if it doesnt have one then I would make the last few turns of the screw by hand.  If thats the not problem, then you should try predrilling the hole a bit bigger.  Guess the advice doesn't really help now since you figured a way around the problem, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyways.

Advice is always good for others who may come upon a problem similar to mine.  Thanks for the input!
