Hooking up a coin mechanism

SirPeale:

1) are those "white things" near the coin door?

2) can we get a picture of them?

mag48:

on the end of the wires in the one picture i showed comming out of the coin door u can see a little cap on the end of the wires... are they supposed to stay like that?? or do i pull that cap off?

CheffoJeffo:

Peale -- I think that this machine at one point had a coin door harness, but it is no longer there.

My advice to mag48 was to trace each wire backto the board and note the pin number (I provided him with a copy of the manual and pinouts).

Cheers.

Ah, now I see.  That's exactly what he's going to have to do.  Get in there with a flashlight and find the answer for yourself.  Since we're not in front of the cabinet, we can't do it for you.

And no, don't pull that connector off.

SirPeale:

Also, since the wires are likely color-coded, you can likely just look on the connector on the main board to see which wires are for coin.
