That's a pretty impressive and serious collection dude.  :o

What's with all the stuffed toys?

I am guessing you are allowed to have a games room only as long as your chick gets to put her girl stuff out on display as well....?

Living the delusional lifestyle.

That was my reaction too. Ditch the stuffed animals, OR find a glass box and stuff them all in there. Somehow it looks better when they are all trapped in a glass box. Call me weird.

Nice collection but I have a complaint. Why did you make that Dynamo cab into a QBert? I find that rather bizarre. If I've learned anything in this hobby, it's that if you wait long enough, you can eventually get any cab you really want. Why didn't you just wait till you got a real QBert cab?

I struck out what I wrote rather than deleting it, since someone else might have the same knee-jerk reaction as me. I just noticed now there is Burgertime on the screen, so obviously this is your MAME cab.

NO MORE!!

Yeah, the wife has a huge collection and although there is room elsewhere for them she likes them there. I am picking up a crane machine for the multitudes of smaller ones to live in. I can't complain though, I have the entire basement for my model aircraft/workshop and to build a theater. I get the large main room for the arcade, and the other main room with the fireplace where the jukebox/foosball/and soon to be air hockey are. I also get the garage for myself and I have the kit car in there now building it. She basicly lets me do as I please with the entire house other than the bathroom and bedroom. I know guys who are allowed one game crammed into the basement, hidden away, or in some cases not at all. A friend of mine with no kids and a 4 bedroom house with a basement has been told there isn't "enough room" for an single game. So if the wife wants Pookey bear on top of Playchoice10 I deal with it.

I like the Qbert theme but don't love the game enough to own one. It is one of my MAME machines and I didn't want to sacrifice a real Qbert for a MAME machine. That cab is actually a POW cab. The only classic I have ever converted to MAME is a PACMAN that had been left for dead with no guys/bezel/CP etc. I bought all new parts and restored the cab. The machine has only the variants of PACMAN on it and nothing else.

You can get that set from www.whatisblik.com for about $50. I am currently trying to figure out some appropriate display method for my Atari 2600/5200/7800 stuff. I am also looking for an older 19 inch TV to connect them to, old school late 70's early 80's. I have thought about building a repro of a store display case, or even just an old fashioned TV cart.

The sign was bought on Ebay. They are about $15 then shipping from Hong Kong at another $15 or so. But if I walked into a store I would expect to pay about that much. Just search on Ebay for signs and such and you will see hundreds of designs for cars, beer etc. There is a sharp looking SEGA one too. I will try to snap a pic of it closer up tonight.

Congrats, you must be a happy man !
If I'd have that much room, i'd put all the animals I could get on top of those machines AND let them play them ;)

Nice collection of cabs. Really like the Space Invaders taking over the room ;)

I like the Asteroids Deluxe.

What is the game to the right of Defender, facing it?

Yeah, but look at the bright side. When your wife gives you a hard time about your addiction, you just point her towards this guy!
