| Configuring MAME to use a spinner... |
| (1/1) |
| Sinner:
Is there a special version of MAME needed to set up a spinner?? Here are my options...I have an opti-pac and could build or buy a spinner to attach to it... The other option is to buy Slik Stik's Tornado, which has a USB connection... Either way I assume, that I need to configure MAME to recognize the spinner, or to use it for a specific game...I looked in the configs, and I didn't really see anything...I assume I would want to be able to adjust sensitivity and stuff too... Can someone suggest where I can find this information?? (I did some searching on the board and I don't see what I need)... Thank you, Matt |

fire up TEMPEST/Centipede/Missile Command and use your mouse for now. You'll see the Sensitivity setting when TAB is pressed under Analog settings. MAke sure mouse =1 in the INI file. |

I tried using a mouse for Arkanoid once, and it wouldn't work... |

Yes thats it. You may have changed the configuration for a given game to use the arrow keys (for instance). You also can't configuration the mouse buttons when paused (which can give the illusion that the mouse isn't workign) |
