Frosty:
Anyone recommend a good HDTV antenna? |
NY_in_TX:
back in the day when I got my first HDTV, I bought a rat shack antenna called the "double bow tie" it was a $3 indoor antenna on clearance and it worked so well it's still in use on my new TV. ;D I'm about 15 miles from the broadcast towers and single story. Since you're in a pretty decent area, I would assume you could get by with any type of antenna. I would start with the typical rabbit ear type and move up from there if you have problems. www.antennaweb.org/ try them too, they might have some good info about where your broadcasts are coming from. btw I would HIGHLY suggest direct TV or dishnet. HD HBO is worth the price of admission, along with ESPNHD and DiscoveryHD. |
