I wouldn't sweat it at all. Unless the engineer is a complete a-hole, he/she will do their part to HELP you. They should be working for/with you, not against you. This is in complete opposition to the angry, drunk, frat-boy who's pissed off at you because the girl at the club/bar is looking at you instead of him. Being in the studio should be cake.
