This is my first post. Probably shouldn't start on something so old but oh well.... I wondered if you ever figured this out. I know it's an old thread, but I've seen other more recent posts from you. I'm in the same boat. SlikStik classic on the way. And I'd like to customize. I wrote Mame Marquees and asked but got no response. |

I've been wondering about the CP overlays sold by mamemarquee.com How thick are they? I'd like to put an overlay on an xarcade 2 player. If the overlay winds up being above the t-molding is it such a bad thing? I was thinking put the overlay on, using an exacto knife for the button holes and then going around the outside with a file to exactly trim the overlay to the CP shape. |

If you were adding plexiglass on top of the art, it would certainly be an issue, but the effect from just the vinyl would be minimal, if anything. An Xacto would work just fine for the button holes. You can use the Xacto to get close to the edge as welll to finish it off. |
