GP-Wiz49 and Linux?

I've been in the planning stage for a new control panel for a long time now (and may be still for quite some time).  I'm very intrigued by the 49-way discussions.  My cab is running Linux and I'm wondering if the GP-Wiz49 can be programmed via Linux and/or Advancemame?
