For testing (and possible use - not sure of the power draw) someone on the guncon hack webpage was using a bog standard 9V battery (the rectangular ones with connectors on top) |

It should work for quite a while on one battery, the draw isn't great. Just completed this myself, since I didn't want to leave the old PS on all the time, or have to turn it on. If it quits tomorrow will let you know :) |
