For more info on these auctions, including next date, etc, visit CGCC (or PM me): http://www.cgcc.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6487 I strongly encourage anybody in SW Ontario interested in Coin-Op stuff to check the boards at CGCC -- at any auction, the best deals are usually in the CGCC parking lot beside Starburst (did we hit 10 cabinets changing hands this time). At last count, my "parking lot" cabs outnumber my "Starburst" cabs 8 to 5, and I have done well at the auctions -- MVS-2-25, Asteroids, Die Hard (now a JAMMA gun cabinet), VT2 and Jamma Countertop. If there is an auction (next on 25AUG2007), then I will likely be there at some point. I am 6'3, typically with a shaved head, goatee and glasses, often seen wearing a BYOAC, GameRoom Magazine or Toronto Fire T-shirt; or, in cold weather, my Halloween (the movie) jacket. Come up and say hi. ;) |

Probably my last bump for this thread ... partly because this may be the last Starburst auction (or not ... that rumour has been going on for about a year) and partly because nobody here ever shows up anymore. I won't be there, unless by fluke, as I have a gala fundraiser the night before and the twins' birthday the day of. And I am officially, totally, completely and utterly out of room (I'm one cabinet past capacity until such time as I finish office construction and free up that wall in the game room). |
