It's new to me and I think It's a cool project. I did a quick search and found there were some references to the site was back as far as 2002. http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=2699.0 |

Yep, it's a great site. BYO Wheels and Pedal was great too - http://www.gunpowder.freeserve.co.uk/wheels/wiring.htm but the DNS seems to have headed south (hopefully temporarily). Some of it is available on archive.org. (I have a mirror of the wiring section at http://www.mameworld.net/tigerheli/encoder/pedals/gunpowder/wiring.htm) This site is also pretty cool, although short: http://www.student.oulu.fi/~heinanen/wheel.html |

Yeah, I used his work when I built my Spy Hunter replica wheel. Because I sandiched plywood pieces together, I was able to route the inside for the wires. I did most of the shaping with hand tools (file, sandpaper). I don't think I would do it that way again. :P |
