since i just got my centipede machine working i have just realized how much better i think leafswitched buttons are compared to the microswitched ones in my mame cab. no clicketty click! and theres much better "feeling" to them.

Actually, athough I prefer leaf sticks, I like microswitch buttons better for some reason. I think I like the tactle feedback you get when it clicks.

Can't agree more with rchadd.....leafs rule, wether in buttons or joysticks, although I'm into sticks without any moving parts at all now....

There were square lit microswitch buttons on my Jamma cab and those are for gambling machines IMHO.

I replaced them with leafs. My primary fire button is a Tungsten Suzo, the others are Silver contact Suzo's (just by accident really). I love the fact that you can adjust the leafs to your personal taste. You can set it to contact really early on the button press (which I like) or all the way down (which is kinda like a ms).
I hate clicks and I hate the feeling of the resistance point of a ms, however good quality and however minor it maybe. I just seem to be able to fire a lot quicker with leafs....
