Regarding the 27" Happ's arcade monitor bezel, can anybody confirm what the fit was like on a D9200? Was it a perfect fit to the monitor glass profile/curve or did it have to be cut & altered? (Not worried about cutting the outside to size, I do expect this.) Happ's want $100 in freight to Australia which I am considering but I don't want to get stuck with a crappy fit for this type of investment. Thanks guys. |

Mine is a perfect fit. I just trimmed the outside, as you stated. You DO have to be careful to get it in proper position, because it is molded to the glass shape, and if it's off position, it will not be tight against the glass due to the curved shape. That shipping price, however, seems OUTRAGEOUS! The thing can't weigh more than a half pound! If it would be considerably cheaper, I would be willing to order one here in the US and ship it to you... You pay actual costs for product and all shipping, of course. |

Thanks for the reply and generous offer tivogre. I did some searches and found some conflicting info regarding the sizes so the reassurance it will fit properly is appreciated. Regarding the dispatch offer, by the time I pay freight from Happ's to yourself and then pay freight to Aus, it will probably end up roughly the same. For what I guess will then be a small saving it's probably not worth your trouble. But again, your offer is met with sincere thanks. ;) |

Did you check to see if Ponyboy from B/S/T might carry the bezel? You might be able to save that way? Also there is a post on how to make your own floating in one of the stickies I believe.. |

The problem with shipping from Happ, is that the charge you a MASSIVE fee for oversize items, such as the bezel. I dunno if UPS or whoever really charges anywhere near that much, but it does seem quite ridiculous to pay that much for something as light as a bezel. |
