Mala gamelist position

Been playing with Mala and seems easier then mamewah.  I can easily create new layouts in the layout editor 0.9.8. 
The problem I am having is when I actually run mala.  It seems that the game list does not stay in the same position as where it was in the layout editor.  It seems to always want to move to the left upper corner.

This only seems to impact the game layout.  Snap/Title picture or Marquee picture stay where I place them.

Also is there any english documentation for this front end?

I checked your problem right now and for me it works. Some questions:
Are you using a fixed size layout?
Does it occur in horizontal orientation or vertical or both?

You can open the mll file with a text editor and check the following values in the [horizontal] and [vertical] section:

ListTop=xxx
ListLeft=xxx
ListHeight=xxx
ListWidth=xxx

In MaLaLayout the top and the left values are displayed in the statusbar.
Any differences?

Yes, right! Thats what the layout tool is for.
I asked you to check if there are any differences between the display in MaLaLayout and the saved mll file. If so I can search and fix it. Btw you are the first person who report such an error in the last 2 years.

The title shows in different positions. (upper right corner in layout, top of game list on actual mala. Also there is additional text showing next to the game list (to the right).  That is not on the layout.

I got the game list to position correctly by editing the mll based upon the list top left height and width.
 
Here is the mll info for the starwars-v2.mll. Checking the folder there is also a standard.mll file.  Could that have some type of impact?

I downloaded the starwars layout again and cannot reproduce your error. Here it looks as designed. After looking at your pictures I would say you are working with different layout files in MaLaLayout and MaLa.

What is your monitor resolution? 1246x1039???

Can you reproduce this error with another layout?

1024 x 768  monitor res.

I also have had the problem on other layouts also.

Running xp with sp2

Even uninstalled and reinstalled mala

Just a resize of the screen capture utility that I took the snap with. checking resolution of the fixed size for the layout, i show 800 x 600

Sorry, no solution for this problem right now. I cannot reproduce this error, so I cannot fix it or give you some hints. As said, I never heard about this before.
