Has anyone seen a 25th anniversary Pac-Man yet?

haha, I love this thread.

Thank you TurboC--  Your are my new best intarweb buddy.  Thank you for calling me trash because I disagree with you, it shows how mature you are, and how "wrong" I am to infest the board with useless crap.  Too bad you don't have more posts than I do, I always love the postcount argument for superiority on web boards.. they're super fun.

You're right... there is nothing similar to the art.  Thank you for pointing that out to me.  In fact, I wouldn't have even known it was a Pac Machine if you didn't point it out to me.

I love PacMan, and I love the intarweb!!  kekeke  Now I must continue my stupidity across the board in an effort to gain self worth.... alas, I pray that one day I may be as awesome as Turbo C--

</sarcastic stupidity>

I'm always amazed at how serious people can get over an online debate.  Resorting to calling people names over differences in opinions.  And of course the "I'm done with this thread"  I'm sorry we made you "take your ball and go home" TurboC, but you should learn to take a joke and enjoy a bit of a debate online... it's all in good fun.

Like I really go around SERIOUSLY debating the intricacies of arcade art to prove how superior I am.... it's the internet, don't take it so seriously.  I'm just messing around when "debating" on here.  Take a look at the Everything Else board and see how much fun we really do have on this board.

I'll even apologize if I insulted you, but really, try to take things a little less seriously.

Man that thing is ugly. The all-over yellow cab is just nasty looking. On the original the black balanced it out a bit. Why in the world would someone at Namco think that it would look good--even in theory-- to  take the original sideart and slap on a giant decal with different-styled art on it? You'd think they'd have seen as many bad conversions as we have.

Do you think the other side has Galaga sideart with a giant Pac-man over it?  :)

It is good that they included Pac-Man without a code, but obviously they're just trying to cash in anyway. I thought the reunion cab was well done, but this is just scary. I feel sorry for the Ms. Pac artwork that's barely there at all.

I really like the look of this 25th cab.

I like it better than the original actually, and that is mainly because of the "all-over yellow", and the 25th Anniversary logo doesn't bother me in the slightest. :P

It also appears to have a slightly stronger curve to the front, which I like.

Nothing beats the original, i'd say :)

I've asked before and I'll ask again...
When did the orange T-Molding make it's debut?
TurboC--:
Only entering the thread since this is totally off the other topic.  I've heard the Pac-Man T-molding can fade to yellow over time.  I can't say with 100% certainty what "the original" was.  My Pac-cab has orange, and from the damage it seems like it's been on there a long, long time.  Yellow T-molding wouldn't make a very good contrast to yellow paint, anyway...
