Seriously! John --- End quote --- Couldn't of said it better myself, glad someone did. |

OK, here is the 1st half or so...cant post it all, since it is over 512kb. Made it a PDF, so I could post it...lost its links though... >:( I will work on it more on Monday...since I wish I had this when I was first setting it up. It's pretty good! |

And what the *heck* is with that Mamewah website? I wonder if it is possible to make a site that is more difficult to read. Plain black text on a white background would be infinitely better. I'm new to this and I am having a hella time setting up Mamewah as well. I find it quite poor that probably the most important piece of information about Mamewah is not to be found anywhere on the website or in the documentation (as far as I can tell). And that is that Mamewah ONLY works with MAME for DOS. Is this or is this not true? I've read this on a number of websites but have yet to see it mentioned in the official docs. MAME for windows doesn't respond at all for me. But MAME for DOS works. And by "works" I mean at least the game list will refresh. Launching a game that doesn't hang my PC has yet to be achieved. |
