| Question about Oscar Mouse Hack |

I just bought a never used Oscar mouse hack but as I look at it, I realize it wasn't quite what I expected. It actually came with the optical sensors attached. Is this how Oscar mouse hacks are done? I figured it would be something I could attach to the connector coming out of my trackball, but it appears that it is acutually intended to replace the innards of my trackball. The only problem I foresee is that the boards that the sensors are soldered onto aren't the same size or shape as those in my Betson TB. Anyway, since oscarcontrols is "closed" right now, I can't even go online to look at what his page says about his mouse hacks. Any info from those of you who have these? Thanks |

It's hooked up to the pins coming out of the trackball whereas mine has the optical sensors attached ??? |

Sounds like maybe you got one (two?) of Oscar's optic boards instead of an interface. Picture? |
