Pretty simple CP setup question...

Willypill:
Ok, I'm about ready to put together my control panel.  I have ordered an I-PAC4 and my joysticks and buttons.  Am I going to need anything else to set it up?  If I understand correctly, I wire the joystick and buttons to the I-PAC4 and then the I-PAC4 hooks to the computer through the PS/2.  Correct?  Will I need anything else to get this running?  Thanks.
Tiger-Heli:
Wood, wire, Quick Disconnects, maybe crimping pliers, the software for the WinIPAC and some way to load it, a drill for making button holes, maybe carriage bolts and nuts for the joysticks, a wrench to tighten them, maybe a pushbutton wrench . . .

OTOH, except for the wire and QD's, you could just lay them out on a table and play so the other stuff is optional.
Willypill:
Does it matter what kind of wire?
Clonedsheep:
I used bell wire from Home depot. Cheap, Easy and almost the perfect gauge. They charge by the foot.
Tiger-Heli:
22-gauge Stranded is recommended most often.  Stranded it easier to crimp to than solid, gauge doesn't really matter.
