Thanks again. I have a Pac-Man (with only 1 stick) while sorting my ROMs I started to wonder if there was 1 that could handle all of them. Have fun, Craig |

If you have to have a rotating 49-way, the Happ style is the only one available at the moment. I personally don't care for them because they feel too floppy to me. The Williams style has more resistance to it, but possibly a little TOO much at the extremes of travel. I prefer the overall feel of them to the Happ ones, but they are a little harder to control subtly. As far as the encoder goes, Groovy Game Gear is the only game in town on that. DaveB has a 49-way encoder, which works great for 49-way and most analog games. It doesn't do the digital restriction that the GGG one does though. |

The joystick bolt pattern for the metal control panel on your Pac Man is not going to match up. Do you plan on converting an original Pac Man for MAME? |
