On or Off when not in use?

Well we will find out...i just set it to turn off monitor after 4 hours (was set to never).

You'll have to figure out how often you play the machine.  With that setting, it could possibly turn on and off your monitor several times per day (which I thought you were trying to avoid, if it was bad for the lifespan).

If you don't plan on playing it for over 4 hours, you might as well manually turn it off.

Or leave it on until you go to bed, then shut it down. (That would keep it to about a 50% work cycle, while not cycling power too often).

Huh?  I don't get how playing over 4 hours has to do with it.  He set shutoff to 4hours.  Meaning it will shutoff after 4 hours of non-use.

My arcade cabinet is set to suspend after 30 minutes of non-use, then I don't ever shut it off.  Just wondering if the D9200 can support this.

I think any system not in use should be turned off.  Apart from my tree-hugging side it just seems wrong to me to leave something powered on for no reason...
