I am in the metro detroit area, the problem with interstate purchases is the shipping is a killer. I have called a handful of places already and when you tell them you want a nonworking unit they think you are crazy or they try to act like they are doing you a favor. I will keep shoping around, thanks for all the tips. I |

Did you go to namcoarcade.com? You can search for used games and get the technicians numbers. They usually have a few non-working ones they will let go cheap. |

A rough guide I follow. An empty 19" gutted cab (no wiring, missing coin door, unpopulated CP) = $25 An empty 19" wired cab (JAMMA harness, ISO transformer, PS, CP) = $75 A complete 19" cab (with working halfway decent monitor), no PCB = $125-$150 A complete 19" cab with sharp/bright monitor, generic PCB = $175-$225 If it is a 25" cab and/or a nice big 4 player CP, expect to pay more. |

Also try contacting Delta88 (from here). Hes in your neck of the woods (lots up there actually).. But Delta88 goes through cabs to restore often. And he was getting rid of some a bit ago. Good guy. The prices above are right on... but in one case. I think that getting the perfect cab style is worth 25-50 bucks (ie, gauntlet if you want a 4player is worth extra) and the big one. Sideart. If you love the artwork it can be worth a LOT. If you can find a cab that you love the look of... and you don't have to repaint ect... its worth an extra 75+ |
