--- Quote from: GameOver on July 19, 2005, 11:17:42 pm ---Hey Stobe - I did mine yellolw w/black t-molding. I think it turned out pretty nice, and not as loud as a black cab could be IMO. I've attached a pic, or you could go to my website to see a few more. --- End quote --- I really like the look of your cab, and think yellow is awesome for a cab... but how is yellow not as loud as black.... Yellow is a much "louder" color than a regular old black cab IMHO. |

Black with red t-molding: |

I think the original MK cabinets were black with red trim. On my personal desktop CP I went with navy T-molding and a black CP and sides, so that can look good also. I also think the appropriate sideart, done well, gives the cab a more authentic look and would "blend" in better in the house, in some cases, than a solid black side border. |

Thanks GameOver and Javeryh for the pics. I really like the 'classic' color scheme (black on yellow). It looks the most authentic when you think about video games. I like the No Quarter cab as well (great name, Led Zep influence?) Now I'm thinking of blue on black as well, a la Pacman maze type artwork ?? Keep 'em comin! -Stobe |
