which T-molding is the best?

Minwah, you're right about that. On my MAME cab I used smooth. On my NEO-GEO I used "leather". The leather finish stuff does indeed hide scratches much, much better. The smooth is starting to look pretty scuffed, the leather still looks very nice.

I think you can only get leather in black. My MAME cab used blue t-molding, so smooth was the only option I had for that one.

Cool, thanks :)  I have black molding anyway, so it would be ok for me.  I'm getting some sideart done on adhesive vinyl so I might remove the t-molding anyway (haven't 100% decided if I can get away with leaving it on while applying the sideart).  Maybe if I do remove it I could replace it with the leather stuff.
