| VGAarcade on PC monitor? |

Sadly the "dos" screen at startup (such as the BIOS) is not in fact 15KHz signal. Its actually over 31Khz.... This is why its viewable on normal PC monitors. I think most VGA cards "doublescan" these frequencies (ie draw every line twice) so they can be displayed. If the ArcadeVGA is outputting 15Khz signals, then you won't see it on a normal Pc Monitor. |

Ah, ok, i did notice in the BIOS est up u can change the screen, form VGA, to different forms of CGA settings, would this make a difference? |

If you have the model with one VGA connector, then you can ONLY connect it to an ARCADE MONITOR. Here's the instructions for the new ArcadeVGA card. |

Incidentally, the performance with a PC monitor (the old AVGA) is poor due to the fact it is only intended for setting up / maintenance. ie you should not use an ArcadeVGA with PC monitor for gaming. Just put a different (normal) graphics card in while you set the pc up, and switch back when you go to an arcade monitor. |
