WG D9200 Questions
« on: August 03, 2005, 10:59:11 am »
I am planning on upgrading my cabinet and want to go with a 27" monitor. I am looking at a WG D9200. What resolution are most of you running this monitor at. I know it will do 800x600 (unsupported). This would be a nice option to have. I plan on running it with standard onboard VGA video.

Also, how wide are your cabinets, minus CP. Are you able to fit this into a 30" wide cabinet and still have a descent looking bezel area. I dont' want it to be too far out of porportion, like 1" on both sides and 6" top and bottom.

Thanks,
John

I own both a WG9200  and a Betson. Betson supports 600x800 and I have found it to be a better monitor on a whole.

I have run my WG9200 at 600x800 but I wouldn't keep it at that res as I worry about something bad happening.

I spoke to my contact at WG today, Jeff Gardner. He tells me that the monitor does indeed support 800x600. If fact they can "tune" it for me so it is setup one of two ways, VGA/SVGA or VGA/EGA/CGA.
